The IIID (International Institute for Information Design) is starting a new series of online conversations. On the first Thursday of every month they are asking an information designer to talk about their work and ideas for around 10 minutes, then they are interviewed, and the interview morphs into a discussion which everyone can join in. The IIID researched what its members wanted, and many wanted a sense of community - we tend to work in relative isolation and want to find out how other people do it.

IIID Conversations is free for IIID members, and €5 for non-members. You need to register first, to get the Zoom link.

The next four conversations are:

6 October 2022 at 1500 UTC: Will Stahl-Timmins (The BMJ, UK), discussing his work on infographics for the BMJ medical journal. More information.

3 November 2022 at 1500 UTC: Carlos Rosa (IADE, Portugal) will talk about his work with moving pictograms.

1 December 2022: Rupesh Vyas (Aalto University, Finland). Time and topic to be announced

5 January 2023: Rodrigo Ramírez (UC Chile). Time and topic to be announced
